The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
